My daughter loves this game. We borrowed it from the library and plan to purchase our own copy. It ran fine on my Windows XP Pro machine -- you might have to open the program's properties and choose the compatibility tab and then set it to run in Windows 98 mode. But we never had any problem running it.
I think some of the clues are too ambigous to figure out the culprit, but other than that, it seems a fun way to build logic skills.
